Make It

Tap or click steps to mark as complete

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Add hot water to stuffing mix; stir just until moistened. Set aside.
  • Place chicken in 13x9-inch baking dish. Mix soup and vegetables; spoon over chicken. Top with prepared stuffing.
  • Bake 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

Keeping it Safe

Many frozen foods, such as cuts of meat, should be thawed before cooking for best results. Never thaw frozen foods at room temperature. Instead, place them in the refrigerator to thaw overnight.

Keeping It Safe

The best way to thaw frozen chicken is in the refrigerator. Never thaw chicken or other meats at room temperature on the countertop, since that would provide an ideal temperature for bacterial growth. When thawing chicken in the refrigerator, place on a plate on the bottom shelf to prevent any raw juices from dripping onto other foods or refrigerator surfaces. For quicker thawing, place chicken in a freezerweight resealable plastic bag, then seal bag and submerge it in cold water. Let stand until thawed, changing the water every 30 min.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This was a great start. This was a great start. Very smooth, but a bit on the bland side for me. Next time I think I will add a couple dashes of Worcestershire to the broth then add cheese and I think I will add some salt and pepper to the flour mix. I might even try a little onion and garlic when browning chicken.

It was easy to make, and great for my daughter to get her hands into making. This dish will be making an encore presentation at our dinner table sometime in the near future. Thanks Kraft Foods.

I needed a quick and easy recipe to make a meal for some neighbors that were recuperating from surgery. So I made it first for my family to try it out. Then I made it a second time for our neighbors who loved it. It was so easy and I made two entrees in 20 minutes!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fast and easy and you can vary the ingredients. Fast and easy and you can vary the ingredients. I tried cream of celery soup and frozen peas and carrots and it was just as yummy. I did find that the cooking time needed about 40 instead of 30 minutes but the chicken breasts were thick.
