I used a chocolate crust because I already had it on-hand, the chocolate got hard, and the pudding did not set very firm, so it wasn't just like the picture. However, but it tasted delicious! Next time, I may use banana pudding since I am obsessed with bananas and chocolate :)
My mom used to make this when I was a kid, it called for adding mini marshmallows as well back then. It is delish! I used cooked pudding, tastes more like a bakery pie when you do that. Awesome pie!!!
Made this pie on Happy Resurrection Day!!! Used Fat Free milk instead of whole which made chocolate layer hard like candy...Creme was not very firm....I used two banana's instead of two....That was very yummy....This pie tasted as though I had bought it from the bakery in spite of incorrect milk...This is a Keeper for years to come.....!
