Rated 2 out of 5 by from I'm still undecided on this recipe. I'm still undecided on this recipe. I cooked it for my boyfriend, but it did not end up on the kitchen table! I had to throw it out because I was embarassed to serve it! I did not like the cream sauce, but I believe that was because I used a BBQ sauce that I did not like. I didn't realize I didn't like it until after I had used it in the sauce. I will probably attempt this recipe again, however with a BBQ that I know I like and not for my boyfriend lol! I did like the onions and mushrooms!

Creamy BBQ sauce has always been a favorite with us, even mixing mayonnaise with BBQ sauce for sandwiches. I used 4 large, about 2 lbs chicken breast halves, doubled the butter, used 1/2 cup BBQ sauce, doubled the sour cream and added 4 oz of cream cheese to the sauce at the end. We had enough for left overs and plenty of sauce to spoon over the mashed potatoes that went with it. We like large portions so this delicious dish worked well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I wasn't sure how this sauce was going to turn out and I was very surprised at how good it was. I wasn't sure how this sauce was going to turn out and I was very surprised at how good it was. My husband loved it too and even he did not know what the sauce was. I read some of the other reviews about how thick the sauce was, I didn't have enough sour cream to double the sauce so I added milk to it a little at a time and that worked really well, you could also use chicken stock too.

We don't like mushrooms so I omitted those, and big onions are a no-no too, so I just chopped them up small and I used about a quarter cup of the bbq sauce I had on hand (not Kraft). Will definitely be making this a regular dinner!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This was a nice, easy recipe to make. This was a nice, easy recipe to make. I used olive oil and some minced garlic to cook the chicken in for better flavor. Next time I will add a little extra barbecue sauce as the sauce was pretty bland.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I used canned mushrooms when I made this recipe. I used canned mushrooms when I made this recipe. I didn't like the taste of those in this. Also I felt like it was just a lot more work when a regular sauce would have tasted just as good.
