Excellent meal for my big family. It's good with or without the mushrooms and make sure to sear the chicken first.
Creamy BBQ sauce has always been a favorite with us, even mixing mayonnaise with BBQ sauce for sandwiches. I used 4 large, about 2 lbs chicken breast halves, doubled the butter, used 1/2 cup BBQ sauce, doubled the sour cream and added 4 oz of cream cheese to the sauce at the end. We had enough for left overs and plenty of sauce to spoon over the mashed potatoes that went with it. We like large portions so this delicious dish worked well.
