I agree in the fact that this recipe was very similar to beef stroganoff; however, my husband and I thought it was great. I wrote the recipe down so had to make it from memory and not looking at a cookbook in front of me...therefore I forgot the paprika and italian dressing completely! We both thought it tasted VERY good. I didn't add peas as I was making brussel sprouts on the side. So I think this was a very tasty dish and will definitely make it again. I added half as much broth as it called for and let it boil off a bit so it wasn't too soupy. I will make it again and add my own twist. Not a fantastic dish, but a great one when you're in a hurry or want to get some veggies into the kids!

I cant figure out what I did wrong, bc this sounds good, the picture looks good and it smells good too, however there is absolutely NOOO taste to it what so ever and it was extremely soupy! What a bummer. I'm not thrilled I had to go to the store to get most everything when its this cold out. My family and I definetly did not like this and will not try it again. Prep and cook times were also quite a bit longer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was worried while I was cooking it but it turned out surprisingly yummy! I was worried while I was cooking it but it turned out surprisingly yummy! I only used half the papricka (thought it might be too much) and next time I would add more mushrooms since we love them. Not creamy though but we still liked it - we both cleaned our plates!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am so surprised by the low ratings that this recipe has received. I am so surprised by the low ratings that this recipe has received. It is one of my favorites and my picky daughter likes it too. I don't use the onion, paprika or tomato and I add a can of golden mushroom soup to make it creamier. Delicious the 2nd day too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It was not creamy due to all the broth that was required. It was not creamy due to all the broth that was required. The only flavorful thing was the chicken due to the black pepper, but other than that it was bland. I am willing to try this again but with some tweeks I have in mind.

I tried to give this recipe the benefit of the doubt, but should have listened to all the negative reviews. The beef itself was flavorful, but as a whole, no flavor. The kids would not eat it. I will not make this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was great - definitely will be making again! This was great - definitely will be making again! The only thing I did different was cook it a bit longer at the end to boil down and thicken the liquid. Don't let the bad reviews turn you away - definitely worth making!!
