Add chicken and garlic; cook 5 min. Turn chicken over; continue cooking 4 to 5 min. or until chicken is cooked through (170ºF).
  • Drain pasta mixture in colander; return to pan and set aside. Add pasta sauce and Neufchatel to chicken in skillet; cook on medium-low heat 2 to 3 min. or until Neufchatel is completely melted, mixture is well blended and chicken is coated with sauce, stirring occasionally. Remove chicken from skillet; keep warm. Add sauce mixture to pasta mixture; mix well. Transfer to six serving bowls.

Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have made this recipe about 10 times now, my husband loves it. I have made this recipe about 10 times now, my husband loves it. Unfortunately I do not use the low fat cream cheese though, I use regular Philly cream cheese instead and also a little more than called for. I also use an Alfornon Italian baking sauce (made by Barilla) rather than the spagetti sauce. The only other modifaction I personally do is that I add a few spices. Some Italian seasoning and some garlic pepper. Oh, and I don't use garlic cloves I use the jarred McCormick Italian Herb garlic, that stuff is awesome! Anyhow, this is a great recipe and everyone loves it as my house. That is why it's been made about 10 times all ready.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband, 3 yr old and 2yr old LOVED this recipe! My husband, 3 yr old and 2yr old LOVED this recipe!!!! It was great with hot garlic bread on the side. I did change the recipe a little. I used Kraft Zesty Italian dressing instead of the dressing called for- I could not find it in the stores around here. Also, I used about double the amount of dressing and garlic than what was called for. I also added more spaghetti sauce- I thought it was a little on the dry side with what was called for- only 2 cups, I used about 3. This is definitely a family favorite and will be made on a regular basis! It is so easy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I loved this recipe! I loved this recipe! I thought the bow-tie pasta worked great with this. I used traditional Prego sauce and just garlic seasoning and it turned out great. I think the cream cheese is what really makes the taste. If you want it with more of a kick, you could try adding different spices or extra dressing. I used the pre-cooked, pre-cut chicken and mixed it in the sauce while it was heating. I will definitely make this again since it's something different and fast.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Didn't add broccoli or chicken. Didn't add broccoli or chicken. Made as a quick lunch with the bow ties and sauce as directed. Pretty good. Good way to use up the half block of cream cheese I had left from making fettuccine alfredo from this site. I actually crave that recipe. This, not so much I don't think. Would be good with frozen peas added to the water instead of broccoli. A cook in StL, MO.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING EASY FAST RECIPE! AMAZING EASY FAST RECIPE!! I have made it a couple times it's a new family favorite! we devour it. I've used regular Italian dressing and traditional red sauce and it comes out excellent as well . Use what you have, i know the red pepper italian dressing is hard to find at some stores, Italian works just as well. I'm very impressed with this recipe! ENJOY!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Deeelicious! Deeelicious! We really liked it. I did however alter the recipe slightly. I did increase the amount of cream cheese to 6 oz. And because I discovered at the last minute that I didn't have any Parmesan cheese, I used shredded cheddar cheese instead. I will definitely make this again only next time I will try it with the Parmesan cheese.

My husband, who does not like cream cheese, is crazy about it. I usually add some italian seasoning and a little extra sauce. I have also cooked the chicken on the grill and used low-fat cream cheese and it is just as good as the original.
