I have made this numerous times and it is a great recipe! I also add some chicken broth to thin it out a little. Definitely a keeper!
My husbands response was,"You have outdone yourself this time". He said it was just like the broccoli soup he used to buy at a resteraunt.
I did a couple adjustments, I used fresh broccoli from our garden and steamed it until it was almost done. I also put 2 Tbs of concentrated chicken stock in the rue mixture.
I served it with cheese to add as wanted and crumbled bacon for the top. Will make this soup again and again. 5 stars all the way.
