  • Mix cream cheese spread, milk and garlic powder until blended.
  • Cook and stir chicken and peppers in large nonstick skillet on medium heat 6 to 8 min. or until chicken is done.
  • Add cream cheese mixture; cook and stir 3 min. or until heated through. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in spinach and pasta; top with nuts.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with a mixed green salad and your favorite fresh fruit to round out the meal.

Substitute

Substitute PLANTERS Slivered Almonds for the pine nuts.

Variation

Substitute uncooked deveined peeled medium shrimp for the chicken; cook and stir with peppers 2 to 3 min. or until shrimp turn pink. Add cream cheese mixture; continue as directed.

Needless to say grandma had 2 plates (she typically eats like a bird) I was blown away that my 90 yr old grandma had two good size plates! YUMMY! I used wheat penne (this was the first for everyone else trying wheat pasta for the first time), and I added baby bella mushrooms and fresh grated parmesan to this plus I over did it on the spinach too (we love spinach). I took home a "take & bake" wheat bread home to serve with it too. YOU HAVE TO TRY THISSSS! guarantee you will love love love love it too! Now go now, run to your nearest grocery store and make this for dinner TONIGHT, I am telling you you WILL NOT BE SORRY! I hope you enjoy this recipe just as much as I do. Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used this recipe as more of an idea maker. I used this recipe as more of an idea maker. I used plain cream cheese and chicken broth to make the sauce. I added my own herbs to it so it would be more flavorable for us. I used orange peppers and added dried tomatoes,garlic and onions along with fresh spinach. I also used bowtie pasta. What is great about most of these recipes is that you can change and substitute things around and it still works with some tweaking on your part.

Honestly, it tasted like I watered down garlic cream cheese from breakfast and poured it on a perfectly good, flavorful dish..would have been much better with just some garlic/oil and white wine or chicken stock. Sorry, we really wanted to like it but we just really thought it was awful.

I had to double the receipe because of family size, did have leftovers, which made I add were still delicious the next day cold. The only variation I did was to add a vidalia onion(sweet onion)when I sauteed the chicken & pepper. VERY,VERY EASY snd well worth it!! Thank you :)))

I did use 2 tubs of the cooking sauce and thinned it out with a little milk, because I added a bit more pasta and more chicken(not quite doubled). I used Land o Lakes Sautee Express, garlic and herb to cook the chicken breast. YUM.

I added caramelized onions, crushed garlic, mushrooms, and Parmesan. Drizzled truffle oil. Found the sauce too thick, so added pasta water until it was the right consistency. A bit rich, but delicious.

As with almost every kraft recipe they don't tell you to season the chicken but I always do. I used garlic pepper grinder. I also added more red pepper. Everyone loves it, and no leftovers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This meal was DELICIOUS! This meal was DELICIOUS! The recipe called for only 1 lb of chicken, but I used 1.3 lbs for a little extra meat. I also used 1 cup of red bell pepper instead of the 1/2 cup they recommended. The recipe is so simple! I will definitely be making this again in the future!!
