I made this cheesecake and it was a big hit, everyone loved it. It will set properly if you whip the whipping cream correctly. In order to do that, you need to beat the whiiping cream with an electric mixer for a few minutes until soft peak forms, preferably, in a chilled metal bowl. I hope this helps. This is an amazing recipe.
I was wanting to try a different type of cheesecake and this seemed like it would be good for the christmas holidays. I was very disappointed though. After trying to make this twice it never set. I think maybe there should have been more cream cheese. I have never made a cheesecake before that uses only 1 pkg. This receipe ended up in the trashcan.
As a lover of Egg Nog I was very dissappointed in this cheesecake. It wasn't very flavorful and it never set even though I followed the diretions to a T. I won't be making this again. It's not worth the 400 calories and 30 grams of fat!!!! I'd rather just drink Egg Nog!!!
