Cream cheese and COOL WHIP give this Creamy Fruited-Lime Salad its great texture. Walnuts, pineapples and cherries give it added color and flavor.

What You Need

cups  boiling water
pkg.  (6 oz.) JELL-O Lime Flavor Gelatin
can  (8 oz.) crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
pkg.  (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
cup  BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN 2% Milkfat Low Fat Cottage Cheese
cup  thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
cup  chopped PLANTERS Walnuts
cup  chopped maraschino cherries

Make It

ADD boiling water to gelatin mix in large bowl; stir 3 min. until completely dissolved. Stir in pineapple. Refrigerate 1-1/4 hours or until slightly thickened.

MIX cream cheese and cottage cheese in medium bowl until blended. Gently stir in COOL WHIP with whisk. Gradually add to gelatin, mixing well after each addition. Stir in nuts and cherries. Pour into 6-cup mold sprayed with cooking spray.

REFRIGERATE 4 hours or until firm. Unmold before serving.

How to Unmold the Gelatin Mold
Dip mold in warm water for about 15 sec. Gently pull gelatin from around edges with moist fingers. Place moistened serving plate on top of mold. Invert mold and plate; holding mold and plate together, shake slightly to loosen. Gently remove mold and center gelatin on plate.
Special Extra
Serve this refreshing molded salad on a bed of lettuce leaves.
