What You Need

lb. frozen gnocchi, uncooked

slices bacon, chopped
1/2
lb. fresh cremini mushrooms, sliced
1
 red onion, slivered
3
cloves garlic, minced
4
oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, cubed
3/4
cup chicken broth
1/4
tsp. black pepper
1/4
cup small fresh basil leaves
1/4
cup KRAFT Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Make It

COOK gnocchi as directed on package, omitting salt.

MEANWHILE, cook bacon in large skillet on medium-high heat 2 min. Add mushrooms, onions and garlic; cook and stir 5 to 6 min. or until vegetables are tender. Add Neufchatel and broth; cook 2 to 3 min. or until Neufchatel is melted, stirring constantly.

DRAIN gnocchi. Add to sauce in skillet with pepper; stir gently to evenly coat pasta. Cook 2 to 3 min. or until heated through, stirring constantly. Stir in basil. Serve topped with Parmesan.

Garnish with additional basil leaves just before serving.
Substitute
Substitute 1/2 cup packed baby spinach leaves for the basil.
Serving Suggestion
Serve with a crisp, mixed green salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Light Dressing.
