Creamy Ham & Mushroom Pasta

Sautéed ham and mushrooms are combined with cream cheese and mixed veggies to make an easy and delicious sauce for this weeknight pasta dish.

What You Need

lb.  spaghetti, uncooked
Tbsp.  butter
lb.  fresh mushrooms, sliced
pkg.   (6 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Smoked Ham, chopped
cups  milk
pkg.   (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed
pkg.  (10 oz.) frozen peas and carrots

Make It

COOK spaghetti in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt.

MEANWHILE, melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat. Add mushrooms and ham; cook 6 to 7 min. or until liquid is cooked off. Stir in milk; bring to boil. Add cream cheese and frozen vegetables; stir. Cook 3 min. or until cream cheese is melted and vegetables are heated through, stirring occasionally.

DRAIN spaghetti; return to pan. Add sauce; toss to evenly coat spaghetti.

How to Test Cooked Spaghetti
It can be tough to remove a single strand of spaghetti or other long pasta from a big pot of boiling water to test for doneness. Make the task easier by using a small serrated knife. The pasta strand catches on the serrations and lifts right out.
