I have made this for several family gatherings and it is always the first dish that is emptied! Everyone loves it, even those who tend to stray away from fruit dishes. Using sour cream seemed strange at first, but it is wonderful! It does not add any sweetness, which allows the flavor of the fruit to be stronger. I love this, I could eat it every day. Highly recommend!

I skipped the grapes and used mandarin oranges and two bananas. The problem is that the bananas get gross if you don't eat the salad right away, so I had to pick them out and replace them with new bananas so that we could finish the salad.

The guests enjoyed this dish because it was tastey; but without herbs and spices that could upset sensitive tummies!

(you can also do this with apples for taffy apple salad)
