  • Cook spaghetti in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt. Meanwhile, use vegetable peeler to peel asparagus into thin strips.
  • Drain spaghetti, reserving 1 cup of the cooking water. Blend reserved water, cream cheese, garlic, lemon juice and bouillon in blender until smooth.
  • Return spaghetti to saucepan. Add cream cheese sauce and asparagus; mix lightly. Cook on medium heat 3 min. or until heated through, stirring frequently. Sprinkle with Parmesan and lemon zest.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with a mixed green salad to round out the meal.

How to Easy Peel the Asparagus

When peeling asparagus near the bottom of each spear, place the thin spear on top of a flat wooden spatula handle. This will raise the asparagus off the work surface to allow you to shave the last few strips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this was delicious! this was delicious! i have made it several times. i did peel the asparagus the first time i made it and it was a nightmare! currently, i just cut the asparagus into pieces. i plan on trying shredding the asparagus next. besides that other changes i made was to use 1 pound of spaghetti, entire package of ***** cheese (philly is the best!!) and no bouillon cube (too much salt for me). my entire family loves this!!!!

I agree with the others though that shaving the Asparagus was a nightmare, my tip is to find the biggest fattest Asparagus you can it will make it a bit easier. I also added the tips to the pasta, I **** wasting asparagus

I tied the receipe tip but that was not adequate enough for me. Would have appreciated a " How to" video. The flavor was fresh and very enjoyable.
