  • Cook spaghetti in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt. Meanwhile, use vegetable peeler to peel asparagus into thin strips.
  • Drain spaghetti, reserving 1 cup of the cooking water. Blend reserved water, cream cheese, garlic, lemon juice and bouillon in blender until smooth.
  • Return spaghetti to saucepan. Add cream cheese sauce and asparagus; mix lightly. Cook on medium heat 3 min. or until heated through, stirring frequently. Sprinkle with Parmesan and lemon zest.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with a mixed green salad to round out the meal.

How to Easy Peel the Asparagus

When peeling asparagus near the bottom of each spear, place the thin spear on top of a flat wooden spatula handle. This will raise the asparagus off the work surface to allow you to shave the last few strips.

    We enjoyed this meal. It was a new to us and offered us a break from the same stuff that gets boring. The hardest part was the asparagus. I tied the receipe tip but that was not adequate enough for me. Would have appreciated a " How to" video. The flavor was fresh and very enjoyable.

    Not vegetarian. Parmesan cheese is not vegetarian. It uses rennet as its enzyme.

    so the hardest part was shaving the asparagus. and wasn't sure if it was meant to be raw or cooked so I was confused till we ate it. It was really good and kids ate it!!
