  • Cook pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt and adding shrimp to the boiling water for the last 3 min. Meanwhile, heat broth in large skillet on medium heat. Add cream cheese, lemon zest and juice; cook and stir 3 to 4 min. or until cream cheese is melted.
  • Drain pasta mixture. Add to cream cheese sauce in skillet with Parmesan; mix well.
  • Top with mozzarella; cover. Cook 3 to 4 min. or until mozzarella is melted. Sprinkle with parsley.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with a mixed green salad and your favorite fresh fruit to round out the meal.

Variation

Substitute boneless skinless chicken breasts for the shrimp. Cut chicken into strips. Heat large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add chicken; cook and stir 7 to 8 min. or until done. Cook pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt. Meanwhile, prepare sauce as directed. Drain pasta. Add to sauce with the cooked chicken and Parmesan. Continue as directed.

Variation

Prepare using PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese and KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Mozzarella Cheese.

Instead of boiling the shrimp with the pasta,I sauteed it with a clove of fresh minced garlic (cooked 'til tender)in some olive oil and then removed from pan before adding chicken broth(I added the shrimp back in the pan when I added the pasta). Perfect! This one is going on my favorites list!

I LOVED this recipe however, my children hated it and once my husband found out it had lemon he stopped eating (otherwise, i think he thought it was ok) I will make it again, but it will have to be on a night when Im alone. Thanks for the yummy recipe

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good recipe! Very good recipe! I also sauteed the shrimp in a skillet instead of putting it together with the pasta. I thought it was a little bland so I'd use some spices for next time. The shrimp helped give it the taste! Over all, everyone liked it.
