  • Bring carrots and broth to boil in saucepan on high heat; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 30 min. or until carrots are very tender and most of the broth is absorbed, uncovering for the last 5 min.
  • Remove from heat; mash until smooth.
  • Add cream cheese spread; stir until melted.

Special Extra

Sprinkle with chopped fresh chives just before serving.

Recipe can be prepared ahead of time. Cool, then refrigerate up to 24 hours. Reheat just before serving.

I've cooked carrots and mashed them with my potatoes, but I like this idea better and it sparks other idea's..like making sweet potato casserole, only using carrots! Thanks, cooks at Kraft! It seems Kraft has always been there to add a little yummy comfort along my 60+ years.
