  • Cook chicken in large nonstick skillet on medium heat 5 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides. (Chicken will not be done.) Remove chicken from skillet; cover to keep warm.
  • Heat oil in same skillet. Add mushrooms, thyme and pepper; cook 7 to 9 min. or until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Stir in gravy and cheese; cook 3 to 5 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
  • Return chicken to skillet; spoon sauce over chicken. Cook 2 to 3 min. or until chicken is done (165F) and heated through.

If measuring the temperature of a thin food, such as a ground beef patty or boneless chicken breast, the probe should be inserted through the side of the food.
