  • Cook pasta as directed on package; omitting salt; drain. Return to saucepan.
  • Heat dressing in medium skillet on medium-high heat. Add fish; cook 6 min. or until fish flakes easily with fork, stirring occasionally.
  • Meanwhile, blend broth, chiles and cream cheese in blender until smooth. Add to pasta; stir. Cook on medium heat 3 to 5 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Serve fish over pasta.

Variation

Prepare using a white fish, such as cod or snapper, and substituting 1/2 cup roasted red pepper strips for the 3 poblano chiles.

How to Roast Peppers

Heat broiler. Place whole bell peppers or large chile peppers on foil-covered baking sheet. Broil, 4 inches from heat, 7 to 10 min. or until peppers are evenly blackened, turning occasionally. Place in paper bag; close bag. Let stand 20 min. or until peppers are cooled. Remove peppers from bag. Peel away blackened skins with small knife; discard skins. Cut peppers lengthwise in half; remove and discard seeds. Use roasted peppers as directed in recipe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from used a few shakes of red pepper b/c we didn't have poblano and 2 cups of broth and 1 container of... used a few shakes of red pepper b/c we didn't have poblano and 2 cups of broth and 1 container of Neufchatel cheese, and sundried tomato with paremesan dressing... b/c i didn't have enough salmon on hand I used some leftover roasted chicken and threw it in with some asparagus.... "delicious, awesome, superb, and the best" were used to describe the meal by the 3 and 5 year old.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only thing I substituted was red pepper for the poblano pepper. The only thing I substituted was red pepper for the poblano pepper. One reason we didn't have the poblano and the second spicy is not good for this heartburn ridden pregnant lady. The red pepper added a great smoky flavor! This would also be great with chicken or turkey.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Be sure to add salt and pepper. Be sure to add salt and pepper. I made the recipe as stated except I used milk in place of the chicken broth and I used a 1/2 pound of salmon. I would probably make this again, my husband and I both enjoyed it.
