In reading the ingredients, I thought it was strange to put Italian dressing in potato salad (as one other reviewer said). However, after reading so many good reviews, I decided to try it. I was very pleasantly surprised by how delicious it tasted and how easy it was to make with items I already had on hand. The only change I made was to add a some chopped celery for crunch and to use mayonnaise instead of Miracle Whip because that was what I had in my fridge. To compensate for that, I added a little bit of sugar to similate the slight sweetness of Miracle Whip. I liked the fact that it didn't dry out (like my old recipe) after staying in the fridge for a day. The only change I might make next time is to reduce the Italian dressing by one tablespoon. If that causes it to be too dry, I'll go back to the full 1/4 cup.

My daughter never liked my families potatoe salad so I thought I would try to find one she liked. She liked the texture of the red potatoes, and the Kraft mayo but the spicy mustard and the salad dressing was too tart. I traded the the mustard and dressing for sour cream, and added celery. It was an instant hit and everyone loves it, and I've passed the recipe out. Try it this way. Your kids will love it.

I'm a Southern girl, raised in Alabama, and I'm used to the traditional potato salad, but after trying the creamy potato salad, I've got to say that my four kids did not say "Oh no" not potato salad". They actually was excited about the change in taste that it had. Now that Memorial Day is around the corner, the same old potato salad dish I usually bring, won't be missed. Thanks for putting a spark at my table.

My husband is a potato salad fanatic - but I never make it at home because it takes so much time and I've never been a huge fan. Store-bought salad is so unhealthy, I never bought it either. But this salad was a huge hit!! Husband loved it, I liked the taste, the recipe was simple, and it's not even bad for you! I did add in a couple extra eggs, and will probably try it with pickles next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is now my favorite potato salad recipe. This is now my favorite potato salad recipe. Both my husband and I really like it .... a lot .... and it is so easy to make. Love to use the red potatoes because you don't have to peel them. I use whatever salad dressing I have open in the fridge at the moment along with the Miracle Whip. They all taste good! I also double the recipe because the single version is just not enough! Enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic tasting! Fantastic tasting! I made it pretty much as advised, but doubled most ingredients. My daughter loved it. It's a holiday favorite. Being served cold, I can make it ahead of time. Last time, I did some microwave bacon - crumbled on top. This is going to be made for Christmas dinner, to serve with my shrimp stew.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was very flavorful. This was very flavorful. I used the regular Kraft Free Italian dressing instead of the Zesty Italian and I think it was a little overpowering as the Zesty has less flavor. Next time I will double the potatoes and egg because there was way too much sauce. Definately try this recipe - you won't regret it!
