  • Heat broiler.
  • Cook pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt.
  • Meanwhile, toss vegetables with 1 Tbsp. mustard and oil; spread onto broiler pan sprayed with cooking spray. Broil, 6 inches from heat, 8 to 10 min. or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Cook and stir tomatoes and garlic in medium saucepan on medium heat 2 min. Add half-and-half, basil and remaining mustard; stir. Cook on medium-low heat 3 to 5 min. or until heated through, stirring frequently.
  • Drain pasta; place in large bowl. Add broiled vegetables, tomato mixture and cheese; mix lightly.

Variation

Substitute 1-1/2 cups CLASSICO Sun-Dried Tomato Alfredo Pasta Sauce for the half-and-half and sun-dried tomatoes. Cook garlic along with the pasta sauce, basil and remaining mustard.

Variation

If sauce thickens upon standing before tossing with the drained cooked pasta, thin it with additional half-and-half before using as directed.

Special Extra

Cut 1/2 lb. grilled or broiled chicken into bite-size pieces Add to tomato mixture in saucepan along with the half-and-half, basil and remaining mustard.
