  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add vegetables; cook 5 min. or until crisp-tender, stirring frequently. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in chicken, soup, tomatoes, dressing and chili powder.
  • Spread 1/3 of the tortilla strips onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; cover with layers of 1/3 each of the chicken mixture and cheese. Repeat layers twice.
  • Bake 30 min. or until heated through. Top with crushed chips and cilantro.

Special Equipment Needed

Prepare using chopped cooked turkey.

Serving Suggestion

Pair this creamy casserole with a hot steamed fresh vegetable, or a mixed green salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Lite Dressing.

Special Extra

Prepare casserole in foil-lined baking dish, making sure there is enough foil extending over edges of dish to cover and seal. Freeze casserole until firm. Remove from dish; wrap tightly with foil. Place foil-wrapped casserole in freezer-weight resealable plastic bag. Label and date. When ready to thaw, unwrap frozen casserole and return to original baking dish. Thaw overnight in refrigerator, then bake as directed just before serving.

Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made it and made my own condensed chicken soup I dontlike the additives in the store stuff including the yeast extract which is a disquised name for mSg . So i idid it to the tee. And it came out delicious. Only it says it feeds 8. It actually feeds 5 if you have bigger protions. If you eat small portions, then this would be fine. But 6 or more people I would double this recipe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A new twist on a chicken casserole Great recipe for left over chicken. My family loved it, but I would alter the recipe next time I make it. I did make some changes that are noted below. I did freeze 1/2 of the recipe for a future meal.
