  • Cook and stir onions in butter in medium skillet on medium heat 5 min. or until crisp-tender. Add cream cheese and milk; cook on low heat 5 to 8 min. or until cream cheese is completely melted and sauce is well blended, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Stir in horseradish.
  • Fill pita pockets with meat, tomatoes and lettuce.
  • Drizzle with horseradish sauce.

Serving Suggestion

Pair each serving with your favorite fresh fruit and a glass of fat-free milk.

I was in a rush and didn't make the sauce - but I did use some whipped cream cheese that I spread on the pita first (my pita didn't have a pocket). Then I put the roast beef on and some chopped up tomatoes and a little lettuce and folded the sandwich in half. Tasted great. I will definitely try the full sauce sometime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved this recipe! I loved this recipe! I had left over roast beef so instead of deli sliced roast beef I just cut some of my left over roast up and used it. I also put a few raw onions in the pita and used a little extra horseradish. Will definately make it again!
