What You Need

cups graham cracker crumbs

Tbsp. sugar

1/3

cup butter, melted

3/4

cup boiling water

pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin

oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

cups fresh strawberries, divided

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, divided

Make It

MIX graham crumbs, sugar and butter; press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate. Refrigerate until ready to use.

ADD boiling water to gelatin mix in medium bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Beat cream cheese in large bowl with whisk until creamy. Gradually whisk in gelatin until blended. Place bowl in larger bowl filled with ice water. Let stand 5 to 8 min. or until gelatin is thickened, whisking occasionally.

RESERVE 4 large strawberries for garnish; chop remaining berries. Stir 1-1/2 cups COOL WHIP into gelatin mixture, then chopped strawberries. Refrigerate 20 min. or until thick enough to mound; pour into crust. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.

SPREAD remaining COOL WHIP to within 1 inch of edge of pie. Cut reserved strawberries in half, leaving on green leaf tops; use to garnish pie.

The best way to thaw frozen COOL WHIP Whipped Topping is in its container in the refrigerator. Depending on the size tub you have, the thawing time varies. Recommended thawing times are: 8-oz. tub - 4 hours; 12-oz. tub - 5 hours; 16-oz. tub - 6 hours. We DO NOT recommend thawing COOL WHIP Whipped Topping in the microwave.

How to Wash Fresh Berries

Add fresh berries to colander, then gently rinse with a cold water spray just before using. Place rinsed berries on paper towels to dry.

SO YUMMY! I used a store bought graham cracker pie crust and it tasted awesome! Just wondering if it would work to freeze this as well?

I want to make this recipe for a party, so I decided to give it a "dry run" first. The next time I'll make a double batch of the graham cracker crust, as I did not have enough to go up the sides as pictured. I had the Jell-O cream cheese mixture setting in the fridge as I was chopping the strawberries, and forgot to give the mixture a "whisk". I let the mixture set too long, and it hardened too much, giving a chunky rather than a smooth texture after adding the Cool Whip and strawberries. I will definitely make this again for the party.

This is amazing, I made it to day, for easter supper tomorrow. I couldnt wait I made another batch and made mini pies with muffin tins. so easy to make and absolutly a delight to eat!

I made this today, and let me say, it tastes like summer in a pie plate! Very delicious and creamy... and looks so pretty when done. I will definitely be making this again.
