Place chicken between sheets of plastic wrap on cutting board. Use meat mallet to pound chicken to desired thickness.
Serve with a mixed green salad and slice of whole wheat bread to round out the meal.

Cream cheese mixed with garlic, chives and parsley is now a mainstay in my recipe box! I substituted the apricot preserves for pineapple (cause that's what i had on hand). I also used 'real' bacon bits instead of making bacon (lazy!). This was a marvelous chicken recipe that we will keep on hand always.
My original recipe did not have the bbq sauce instructions, it's fantastic!!!! I opted to use spread w/cream chives and onion and just sprinkled garlic powder onto the spread, and I also used real bacon bits from a glass jar (cheater that I am)
The chicken came out moist. I seasoned the chicken with S&P and omitted the bacon.I went a little heavy on the glaze for more flavor. The only thing was that some of the creamcheese mixture leaked out. But it was still a good dish.
