I made this dip according to the recipe but it turned out very greasy, I'm not sure if it was because I used an off-brand mayo or what. I re-made it using sour cream in place of the mayo and it looked better, but the onion smell was very strong and it tasted very bland. I used an onion that was labeled "sweet" since we don't have vidalia's available this time of year. Would like to try again when we have vidalia's readily available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THIS IS THE BEST. THIS IS THE BEST. I MADE IT ONE NIGHT BUT IT MADE A LITTLE TO MUCH FOR ONE SITTING. I DIDN'T WANT IT TO GO TO WASTE SO I PUT FROZEN HASHBROWNS IN IT AND BAKED IT TILL WARMED AT 350. I SERVED IT WITH PORK STEAKS ON THE GRILL AND NOW I THINK IT HAS BECOME ONE OF OUR FAVORIES. YOU CAN PUT IT IN A SPRAYED FOIL PAN ON THE GRILL ABOUT 20 MINUTES BEFORE THE MEAT IS DONE. THIS WORKS GREAT ALSO.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I just made this last night (with a few variations) and it turned out EXCELLENT. I just made this last night (with a few variations) and it turned out EXCELLENT. I used 1c Miracle Whip, 1c sour cream, worchestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and parmesean cheese. I just eyed pretty much everything and it turned out great. It was a little greasy but not too bad! Overall, I am very please with the results, as are my co workers!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from After reading the other reviews I decided to make this using Light mayo. After reading the other reviews I decided to make this using Light mayo. Didn't have a bread bowl to bake it in, so instead, to soak up the grease, I coated the top with seasoned bread crumbs. (wasn't greasy at all) I also had it in the fridge for the day until I baked it. It was delicious!! We plan on using the rest for dinner this evening to top hamburgers!!!!!

When I made this, we tried it on everything we could think of and decided dipping raw cauliflower in it was the best. I know that sounds strange but it is absolutely delicious! We were also having burgers for dinner the first time I made this and I tried it out on that. WOW!! Wants not to love....mayo, cheese and onions....burger toppings anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This recipe was amazing. This recipe was amazing. I doubled it and with 10 adults they cleaned both servings. It was awesome and I used light mayo too. I will for sure make it again. Just a tip: I bought ritz crackers as well as the recommended crackers. Ritz just fell a part. You really need a solid cracker for this dip.

I couldn't find Italian Crumbles at 2 grocers so I tried it with Italian shredded, and 3 Cheese Crumbles. The 3 Cheese was terribly greasy, but our friends who farm onions loved it anyway. Using lowfat mayo with the Italian blend was the ticket though. Good on whole grain saltines as well.
