Follow the package directions to ensure that enough water is used for cooking the pasta. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook until al dente (tender but still a little firm to the bite), stirring frequently. To prevent pasta from sticking, add it slowly to plenty of boiling water and stir frequently while cooking. Adding oil to the cooking water is not recommended because some sauces may not cling to pasta coated with oil.
Serve with fresh fruit and a side salad to round out the meal.

This was delicious! My kids, who are very picky eaters, gobbled it up, and my eleven year old son even had seconds! I peeled the zucchini ahead of time. My kids don't prefer green veggies - spinach is an exception, because I told them to think of it like the green of a spice - and no one even noticed the zucchini in it without the green on it. ;-) We will definitely be ****** this again!
Maybe I did something wrong but this was disgusting!! I will never make it again :(
I made it with smoked sausage but it was hard to keep lit.
