I, too, found that more than (1) pkg. of the Shake n Bake had to be used. I, as well, used a different flavor of bbq sauce and also, put the chicken on a rack placed inside the pan so that air could circulate underneath. I loved it!!! It was quick and easy and the chicken was tender, crunchy, and had a lot of flavor. I will definitely be making this again and quite frequently. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The pictures on this site are so misleading! The pictures on this site are so misleading! My chicken looked nothing like the picture, the crust fell off before I got it on my plate. Even after patting the chicken dry, I couldn't get the barbecue or the shake and bake to stick. There has to be an easier way to do it. I cooked it on a rack so it was nice and crispy. The taste was excellent though, so I was forgot about the sloppy presentation. I'll definitely make this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is one of the most wonderful chicken recipes I have found so far! This is one of the most wonderful chicken recipes I have found so far! I usually have to use more than one packet of the shake&bake, and I also put the chicken on a rack in the pan so it gets crispy all around - otherwise the bottom just gets soggy instead of crispy. I have also found that the chicken has to be really dry for the bbq sauce to stick well! I just take paper towels & pat it dry before dipping into the bbq sauce.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First let me say that my husband hates when I try a new recipe. First let me say that my husband hates when I try a new recipe. He loved it! the chicken was gone in minutes. I loved it, as well as my son. I too, had problems getting the bbq sauce to stick, but I patted it dry, & it worked for the most part. I didn't have a rack to cook it on, but it wasn't to soggy. I'm gonna try different meats. I give it a A++!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVED IT! LOVED IT! I love BBQ chicken and this was amazing! My husband told me that it tasted like something that would come from KFC. I used a Hickory/Maple syrup flavored BBQ sauce and cooked the chicken on racks in a baking dish to prevent the coating from turning mushy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made the chicken from this recipe. I made the chicken from this recipe. Great surprise to have a little hint of barbeque as you bite into the chicken which was rather juicy. My husband actually commented on making such a great dinner which does not happen very often. Would definitely make again!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It was a good idea gone wrong. It was a good idea gone wrong. The coating was soggy and most of it stuck to the pan. I ended up throwing it away cause i could only make myself eat two pices. I forgot to season the chicken, so it had no flavor whatsoever. Just bad all around.
