Crispy Barbecue Chicken Dinner

Chicken breasts are dipped in BBQ sauce and SHAKE 'N BAKE Extra Crispy Seasoned Coating Mix and then baked to perfection in this easy 30-minute dish.

What You Need

bag (16 oz.) coleslaw blend (cabbage slaw mix)

cup KRAFT Lite Zesty Italian Dressing

1/2

cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce

pkt. SHAKE 'N BAKE Extra Crispy Seasoned Coating Mix

small boneless skinless chicken breast halves (about 2 lb.)

cups hot steamed corn

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Toss coleslaw blend and dressing; cover. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

PLACE barbecue sauce and coating mix in separate pie plates or shallow dishes. Dip chicken in barbecue sauce, then in coating mixture, turning over to evenly coat both sides of each chicken piece. Place in single layer in aluminum foil-lined 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Discard any remaining coating mixture.

BAKE 20 min. or until chicken is cooked through (170°F). Serve with the coleslaw and corn.

This was absolutely fabulous so I decided to try something new and instead of using barbeque sauce, I used ranch dressing--it was incredible!! I highly recommend it!

I made the chicken from this recipe. Great surprise to have a little hint of barbeque as you bite into the chicken which was rather juicy. My husband actually commented on making such a great dinner which does not happen very often. Would definitely make again!

Didn't love this one....I found the coating to be a bit soggy and wasn't thrilled with the combination of the shake n bake and bbq sauce-they didn't seem to go too well together..,

This is a fabulous chicken dish. It makes you feel like you are eating fried chicken but of course this is much better for you!
