I didn't have any shake and bake on hand, so I used a recipe I had that made something similar. I first dredged the chicken in a seasoned flour mixture, then dipped in egg, then coated with a seasoned bread crumb mixture. This made the chicken so crispy on the outside, and moist on the inside. Used cheddar instead of mozzarella, and barbecue sauce instead of mustard. Excellent!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The first time I made this I had a few friends over and they loved it. The first time I made this I had a few friends over and they loved it. It was a little meaty like the other comment said so the second time I made it instead of using chicken breast I substituded with chicken tenders. It was like miniature sandwiches and the kids enjoed it. A few of my friends still ask if I am going to make the sandwich's again so they can come over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! Perfect! I cut the chicken to the size I thought appropriate and we added our own condiments to each of our own desire. The chicken tasted juicy with great flavor complimented by the bread lettuce and tomato. Thank you KF
