Crispy Sesame Baked Drumsticks

For the ultimate in Asian-inspired deliciousness, these crispy drumsticks are baked with a soy sauce-ketchup mixture and sprinkled with sesame seeds.

What You Need

1
tsp.  garlic powder
1
pkt.  SHAKE 'N BAKE Extra Crispy Seasoned Coating Mix
8
 chicken drumstick (1-1/2 lb.)
1/4
cup  ketchup
1
tsp.  lite soy sauce
1/4
cup  sesame seed, toasted

Make It

HEAT oven to 400°F.

ADD garlic powder to coating mix; use to coat chicken as directed on package.

PLACE on foil-covered baking sheet.

BAKE 30 min. or until done (165ºF). Meanwhile, mix ketchup and soy sauce until blended.

BRUSH chicken with ketchup mixture; sprinkle with sesame seed. Bake 5 min. or until heated through.

Wrap the end of each drumstick in foil for easy pick up and clean up.
How to Toast Sesame Seeds
Toast sesame seeds in ungreased skillet on medium heat 3 to 5 min. or until lightly browned, shaking the skillet frequently. Remove from heat. Or, spread sesame seeds in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 325°F for 10 min. or until golden brown and fragrant.
