I used broccoli, cauliflower, and green beans. Dredged them in flour before the egg, it helped the breading stick. Served it with a wasabi ranch sauce for dipping, turned out fantastic!!
Made this one day for lunch with mushrooms only. Very tasty and a wonderful change from sandwiches and typical lunch fare. Dipped them in pizza sauce...YUM!!
Really, really messy to make! The taste was ok but the egg didn't want to stick to the veggies and the coating burned too easy. Not something easy to make spur of the moment. I may make it again but only when I have lots of time.
