Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used broccoli, cauliflower, and green beans. I used broccoli, cauliflower, and green beans. Dredged them in flour before the egg, it helped the breading stick. Served it with a wasabi ranch sauce for dipping, turned out fantastic!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've NEVER liked cauliflower before, but I loved it cooked this way. I've NEVER liked cauliflower before, but I loved it cooked this way. It wasn't bland like cauliflower typically is. All four of us (including my 12- and 6-year-old girls) loved it and ate seconds and thirds. I'm going to make this recipe regularly. I think next time, I may try zucchini slices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I too.. I too.. had a problem with getting the Shake N Bake to stay on. I added a a little milk to the egg.. and I coated my veggies. Re-dipped them in the milk egg and Shake N Bake. They turned out fantastic. I used, mushrooms, broccoli, zucchini sticks, chicken, and french fry cut potatoes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This was good, but the breadging was awful to get to stay on! This was good, but the breadging was awful to get to stay on! It was very sparsely coated on the veggies. When you did get some on, it was very good, though. I added crushed red pepper flakes to the mix to make it a little spicier. Definitely dip in ranch!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Really, really messy to make! Really, really messy to make! The taste was ok but the egg didn't want to stick to the veggies and the coating burned too easy. Not something easy to make spur of the moment. I may make it again but only when I have lots of time.

I made this recipe recently and in addition to vegetables listed, I cut up some sweet potato into sticks. The mushrooms & sweet potato were the hands down favorites, but the others were also very good. Adults and kids loved them!
