  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Combine first 6 ingredients and 1/4 cup sugar; let stand 10 min. Meanwhile, mix crushed cereal, margarine and remaining sugar until blended.
  • Spoon apple mixture into 1-1/2 qt. casserole. Top with cereal mixture.
  • Bake 45 min. or until apples are tender.

Sprinkle 1/2 cup dried cranberries or cherries over apple mixture before topping with cereal mixture.
