  • Mix dressing with Seasoning Packet from 1 soup mix package. Discard remaining seasoning packet or reserve for another use.
  • Break Noodles apart; place in large bowl. Add slaw, onions, sunflower kernels and nuts; mix lightly.
  • Add dressing mixture; mix lightly.

Substitute

Prepare using KRAFT Lite Zesty Italian Dressing.

Make Ahead

Dressing mixture can be prepared ahead of time. Refrigerate up to 24 hours. Noodles can also be crumbled the day before; place in resealable plastic bag along with the sunflower kernels and almonds. Seal bag and store at room temperature until ready to use to assemble salad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is truly an awesome recipe! This is truly an awesome recipe! So easy and delicious. You can put the nuts and Ramen noodles in one bag, mix the dressing in a small container and take it all with you. It's a snap to put together when you arrive at your destination. Friends and family have asked for the recipe. Some weren't too sure about it but when they tasted the slaw they were happily surprised. I used one more packet of seasoning this last time with the dressing which delightfully made the dish have a kick. I've made this for ladies salad suppers, lunch on Sunday and a baby shower! Every bit was eaten all three times! I highly recommend this recipe!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy and delicious I made a couple modifications. Instead of the bottled Italian dressing, I used Good Seasons dressing mix because that's what I had on hand. I prepared it according to directions, added 1T lite soy sauce, a squeeze of lime juice and 1/2 cup sugar. I did not have almonds, so I used unsalted cashews instead. Next time, I think I will add mandarin orange sections as well.

I made this dish with toasted sesame dressing because I really wanted it to taste asian. I didn't have sunflower kernels so I added sugar snap peas. And I cut this recipe in half because I'm the only one in my family that eats "rabbit food". It was very good and had a nice crunch to it, however when it was refrigerated it did not taste half as good. So I recommend cutting the recipe in half because it doesn't taste good left over.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Needed a quick potluck summer salad last night. Needed a quick potluck summer salad last night. This worked very well. Got ingredients at store and 15 minutes later it was done. So easy, even a guy can do it! Could not find "Broccoli Slaw" but found "rainbow slaw" which contains broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and red cabbage. Garnished with some mandarin orange slices. Worked very well. Will use next week for another potluck!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I've made this twice now, and my hubby raves about it! I've made this twice now, and my hubby raves about it! I like it too, but I think there is just a little something missing. I added fresh cilantro this time which added a nice fresh flavor. I think next time I will add a little sugar to the dressing, or use an Asian dressing as suggetsted by another member. It needs just a hint of sweetness, but altogether a good recipe!

I would love this recipe and many other if the raman noodles or the other ingredients did not have MSG in them or trans fat. I will not use products that contain them and try and impovise on the recipe. I just made green bean cassorole without the mushroom soup because of the MSG. It wasn't bad but I would rather have your soup without MSG at a reasonable price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This looked so good on the recipe but something was missing. This looked so good on the recipe but something was missing. I double the dressing cause it seemed so dry. And after that it still seemed to dry, not enough dressing or the dressing wasn't strong enough. I don't know. And it did make a huge salad. I'll never be able to eat it before it goes bad. My family isn't into salads like I am.
