Taco Bell Taco Seasoning for each 2 lb turkey, double the water and let mix simmer till almost dry. Flavor is intensified and leftovers are perfect for building a taco salad or nachos. To get the last bit of fat out of this recipe, heat taco shells with open side down, not nested on their side.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Being Mr. Being Mr. Mom I make sure this is a hit on Monday football time. Living in South Texas and loving food of this type we have a taco meal quite often. If we have leftovers (almost never) the kids will have either hard shell or soft shell tacos for lunch the next day. A superb quick meal.

Not only is this easy and always a big hit at my house, but the meat keeps well and reheats easily for a meal the next day. Or you may substitute flour tortillas, heated in the microwave according to package directions, to make soft tacos which is what my children prefer.
