Scoops of vanilla ice cream are rolled in a crunchy coating of crushed cereal, wrapped in plastic wrap and frozen for a scrumptious snack or dessert.

what you need

pt. (2 cups) vanilla ice cream
2
cups honeycomb-shaped sweetened corn and oat cereal

Make It

SCOOP ice cream into 8 balls; roll in cereal until evenly coated.

WRAP individually in plastic wrap.

FREEZE 4 hours or until ready to serve. Store leftover ice cream balls in freezer.

Variation - Crunchy Banana Split
For each serving, peel and cut 1 banana in half lengthwise; place in banana split dish or other dessert dish. Top with 2 ice cream balls. Drizzle each ball with 1 Tbsp. each of a different flavor of ice cream topping. Top with 2 Tbsp. thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, 1 Tbsp. chopped PLANTERS Nuts and a maraschino cherry.
Substitute
Prepare as directed, using cocoa or fruit-flavored sweetened rice cereal; sweetened puffed wheat cereal; or whole grain cereal flakes with cranberries and almonds, banana nut whole grain cereal flakes.
Substitute
Substitute chocolate or butter pecan ice cream for the vanilla ice cream.
