Crunchy-Topped Macaroni & Cheese

A cheesy breadcrumb mix bakes up golden brown and delicious on top of this classic macaroni and cheese casserole.

What You Need

cups  elbow macaroni, uncooked
cup  butter or margarine
cup  flour
cups  milk
lb.  (8 oz.) VELVEETA®, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
pkg.  (6 oz.) FRESH TAKE Southwest Three Cheese Recipe Cheese Breadcrumb Mix, mixed together

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

COOK macaroni in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt.

MEANWHILE, melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat. Add flour; cook and stir 1 min. Gradually whisk in milk; cook and stir 5 to 6 min. or until thickened. Add VELVEETA; cook 2 min. or until melted, stirring constantly.

DRAIN macaroni; return to pan. Add sauce; mix lightly. Pour into 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with FRESH TAKE.

BAKE 15 to 18 min. or until heated through.
