  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Whisk eggs and milk in medium bowl until blended. Add bread; mix lightly. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Pour into 9-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake 45 min. or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 10 min. before cutting to serve.

Variation

Prepare as directed, substituting a 9-inch deep-dish pie plate for the square baking dish.

Substitute

Prepare using your favorite KRAFT Shredded Cheese.

Special Extra

Add 1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves or 1/4 tsp. pepper to egg mixture along with the bread.

I used the low cal bread so I used 6 slices and I added a cup of low fat cottage cheese which added some tang. I added salt and pepper which it doesn't call for, but I read it on other reviews. It was delicious, the next time I I make it I will add in some chicken and sauté the onions first as they were a little undercooked. I also cooked it for 1 hr since I added the cottage cheese. The total calories for the whole dish when I made it was just under 1500 for the whole casserole.

I added minced jalapenos, turkey, tomatoes,red onions and used 2 onion buns instead of regular bread. My family loved it! The possibilities are endless with this recipe. Thanks!!

Add a little milk to fluff it up, 1/4 to 1/2 cup grated romano cheese to add some flavor and saltiness, a few good turns of fresh black pepper and amke some atrichoke hearts substituted for part of the broccoli. I few chopped sundried tomatoes would do well too. A good base recipe, but way too bland to eat as is. Unless you're used to eating that way.

I'm not sure if I cooked it long enough because it seemed a little thick, not as fluffy or tall as others I've tried, but it was still very good! I did not have any greens so I used one hot dog instead and my kids liked it a lot! Even my wife liked it! I would say this was very easy to make and all you have to do it wait for it to be done and breakfast is served!

It was between this recipe and the broccoli quiche recipe in the Kraft calendar. I chose this because, well, I am on a diet. I steamed my own broccoli and I added turkey bacon to it, which wasn't the best choice, next time I will use center cut bacon or low sodium bacon. Other then that it was really good. My brother said that I can make this again, anytime.

I sauteed the onions, steamed the broccoli (only used 1 cup), used skim milk, added crumbled bacon, and topped with sliced tomatoes. I seasoned with lots of salt, pepper, and onion powder. The sauteed onions really gave it great flavor, and next time I will put some chopped tomatoes in it and use 2 cups of broccoli instead.

This is a great recipe to use up leftover Easter ham. Cube ham and add to the mixture. Simple, easy and delicious. Also try the same recipe substituting spinach for the broccoli. Another fun way to zest it up is to top any of the combinations of greens and eggs with salsa.

I added grape tomatoes and some hot sauce. I made this for a friend who is a veggitarian, and he loved it. a side dish was small new red potatoes, made in a cast iron skillet with Tony Chacheres Creole seasoning. this was an awesome Sunday Brunch
