What You Need

NILLA Wafers, divided

Tbsp. butter, melted

1/2

cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans

1/3

cup packed brown sugar

tsp. ground cinnamon

pkg. (3.4 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding

cups cold milk

tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided

bananas (1 lb.), sliced

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

CRUSH 30 wafers; mix with next 4 ingredients. Spread onto bottom of 15x10x1-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray. Bake 5 min.; stir. Bake 3 to 5 min. or until golden brown; cool.

BEAT pudding mixes and milk with whisk 2 min. (Pudding will be thick.) Stir in 1 cup COOL WHIP.

LAYER 1/3 of the crumb mixture and half each of the bananas and pudding in 2-qt. serving bowl; repeat. Beat cream cheese and granulated sugar in medium bowl with mixer until well blended. Gently stir in 1 cup of the remaining COOL WHIP; spread over top of dessert, sealing to edge of bowl. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Refrigerate 3 hours.

TOP each serving with remaining COOL WHIP and whole wafers just before serving.

I made this for my husband and it was delicious. I am thinking of making it for our Christmas party desert contest...

My daughter made this recipe for New Years Eve Party. What a wonderful dessert. I will make this for when we have a pot luck at work. Thanks for such a great recipe.

I made this as one of our Thanksgiving desserts and everyone LOVED it! It tastes just as good as my moms banana pudding from scratch! I can't wait to make it again for Christmas!

I traditionally do not like banana pudding, but this was delicious! It was gone in minutes (at a large 4th of July BBQ) and I was asked numerous times for the recipe! I'm making it again tonight for a birthday party!

Everybody love this recipe I make it in a deep dish pan or sheet cake pan and the bottom cook crust with and aditional layer of whole vanilla wafers under the cream cheese topping has everybody talking more, more, more and smacking their lips!

I have not made this recipe yet, but my niece made it, and it was the best banana pudding I have ever eaten! I am going to make it today for a party tomorrow.
