Deep-Dish Sausage Pizza

Fill a 9" deep dish pie plate with refrigerated pizza dough and you're on your way to creating a delicious sausage pizza—Chicago style!

What You Need

lb.  Italian sausage
cup  chopped onions
cup  chopped green peppers
cup  pizza sauce
can  (13.8 oz.) refrigerated pizza dough
pkg.  (8 oz.) KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

BROWN sausage with vegetables in skillet. Stir in pizza sauce. Remove from heat.

UNROLL pizza dough; press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch deep-dish pie plate sprayed with cooking spray. Sprinkle 1/2 cup cheese onto bottom of crust; cover with sausage mixture and remaining cheese.

BAKE 35 min. or until crust is golden brown. Let stand 10 min. before cutting to serve.

Serve with a crisp mixed green salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Lite Dressing.
Substitute an 8- or 9-inch square baking dish for the pie plate.
