Just before serving, I added parmesan cheese to the top- I also cooked the noodles al dente. The chicken, I cooked with a light sprinkling of garlic powder to give it some more flavor. The (suggested)broccoli would work nicely, however I used 1/2 tsp. dried parsley, fresh snow peas & white corn - It was delicious! I think canned and drained albacore tuna fish could be used in this recipe as well... Yum!

Instead of just plain water I used half water and half 1% milk. I sauteed some chopped sweet onion with the chicken and added peas with the pasta. I drained off most of the cooking liquid before stirring in the cheese packet and added some Velveeta cheese. It was very good and the family loved it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good quick meal! Very good quick meal! I added a couple of sprinkles of garlic salt and black pepper while cooking the chicken, then two cubes of chicken buillion into the boiling water. Also at the end I added 1/8 cup of milk and a dash of worsteshire with the cheese sauce, it turned out great and both kids and adults will love it!

It sounds good, easy to make & my son loves Kraft Shells & Cheese, however I prefer to cook the shells in the microwave. I don't have to keep watch on the stove, all I need to do is listen to the beep. When cooked in the microwave & mixed with the cheese, the cheese seems to melt & be more creamy
