Deluxe Cheesy Chicken Skillet Recipe

What You Need

lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

1

pkg. (14 oz.) KRAFT Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner

Make It

SPRAY large skillet with cooking spray. Add chicken; cook on medium-high heat 5 minutes or until cooked through, stirring occasionally.

STIR in 2-1/2 cups water and Macaroni. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover. Simmer 15 minutes or until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally.

ADD Cheese Sauce; stir until well blended.

Cheesy Chicken & Broccoli Mac

Prepare as directed, substituting 1 cup milk for 1 cup of the water and adding 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen broccoli florets with the Cheese Sauce; cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.

Serving Suggestion

Try serving with bread sticks and a green salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Dressing, such as Ranch.

Shortcut

Substitute 2 pkg. (6 oz. each) OSCAR MAYER Deli Fresh Oven Roasted Chicken Breast Cuts for the cooked fresh chicken. Add with the Cheese Sauce; cook until heated through, stirring frequently.

Although this recipe is very simple and quick I can't leave well enough alone. Instead of just plain water I used half water and half 1% milk. I sauteed some chopped sweet onion with the chicken and added peas with the pasta. I drained off most of the cooking liquid before stirring in the cheese packet and added some Velveeta cheese. It was very good and the family loved it.

Apparently you cannot substitute regular mac n cheese for the deluxe. It came out like paste.

I found this very bland even after trying to jazz it up with some of the other rater's suggestions. Just very boring, kids barely ate it.

This is a very easy and fast recipe .... and is very good .... I didn't have to drain water like some of the other posters because the macaroni absorbed it all...

I MADE THIS WITH THE BROCCOLI , 2%MILK & 1/4 CUP SHREDED CHEDAR CHEESE {krafts re-sealable bag}, ALSO DRAINED WATER BEFORE ADDING CHEESE MIX. yum. LEFTOVERS MADE A GREAT LUNCH LATER. :) D

So yummy and delicious! My husband and I are on a budget due to my pregancy, and this is filling and cheap. He asked me to add peas next time, but this is great as is. I also drained off the water at the end.

My husband and I love Mac 'n Cheese, so this recipe was wonderful!! It was easy to make and it came out very delicious! We did drain off all the water before we put the cheese mixture in.

This was a very easy, quick recipe and my whole family enjoyed it. Was a nice twist to Mac and Cheese.
