Use an egg slicer to easily chop the hard-cooked eggs. Just place the cooled peeled eggs, one at a time, in egg slicer and use to slice the egg. Then keeping the slices intact, turn the egg one quarter turn and slice again.

How to Hard Cook Eggs

Place eggs in single layer in saucepan; add enough water to completely cover eggs by at least 1 inch. Bring water boil; cover. Remove saucepan from heat; let stand 15 min. Drain eggs; immediately place in bowl of ice water. Let stand until completely cooled, changing water if necessary. Perfectly hard-cooked eggs will have a firm yellow center with no greenish tinge. Hard-cooked eggs in their shells can be refrigerated for up to 1 week.

Substitute

Substitute fresh parsley or chives for the dill.

I love anything with capers, so I just had to try this...I have one or two hard boiled eggs left from Easter, so this was perfect. Loved it witht the dill, but I added a spot of Dill Pickle Relish in it as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This sounds fantastic. This sounds fantastic. I love the flavor of capers. My only problem is the Miricle Whip. Sorry Kraft, I just don't like it. But Kraft Mayo is perfect! I'll have to make this tonight for tomorrow's lunch.
