The cake was easy to make, but it was in June & very warm out. So I placed it in the fridge till it was time to show it off & the jelly beans had ran....but the kids loved it! I had a Diva Sleepover party to go along with this cake (all the kids were pampered with a back rub, foot soak, nail painting & then later that night they jumped into the hot-tub.
Very cute and delicious cake! Was perfect for my 10-year-old's birthday sleepover. Made it twice--first time used sprinkles instead of jellybeans, which worked great. Second time with jellybeans and the colors ran horribly--looked tie-dye. Definitely will decorate at last minute next time around! LOVED the pudding frosting! Two thumbs up from my family!
