  • Add boiling water to gelatin mix in medium bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate 1-1/4 hours or until slightly thickened.
  • Add COOL WHIP; stir gently with whisk until blended. Refrigerate 15 min. or until thickened. Stir in fruit. Pour into 5-cup mold sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Unmold.

Substitute

Prepare using COOL WHIP LITE Whipped Topping.

How to Unmold Gelatin

Dip mold in warm water for about 15 sec. Gently pull gelatin from around edge with moistened fingers. Place moistened serving plate on top of mold. Invert mold and plate; holding mold and plate together, shake slightly to loosen. Gently remove mold and center gelatin on plate.

Food Facts

Never use fresh pineapple in a gelatin recipe. Raw pineapple contains an enzyme that prevents the gelatin from setting.

This recipe is easy to prepare, can be prepared with or without fruit using your favorite flavor of Jell-O and matching it with fresh fruit that is in season. There are so many options that you can have a different dessert each time you make it. (ex. orange jell-o, mandarin oranges using juice for water, strawberry with fresh strawberries etc.

Just by looking at the photo you can tell that the picture shows how delicious the Creamy Fruited Mold will taste. I guess what I am trying to say is the picture captures how good it will taste.
