I guess if you experimented with different types of onions that had more robust flavor it would taste much better. Stay away from sweet onions. If i ever make it again, I would probably try to substitute Miracle Whip or mayo with sour cream.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I served this dip at Thanksgiving as an appetizer and everyone just loved it. I served this dip at Thanksgiving as an appetizer and everyone just loved it. As a dear friend said, "it's a keeper"! I did not use the red peppers as some of the guests didn't care for peppers and we also used ruffle potato chips to dip into it. I will definitely make it again!!

It was not very favorful and I thought the Miracle whip overpowered it. Only one person liked it. I would not waste my time on it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is one of my FAVORITE dips! This is one of my FAVORITE dips! I'm not a big fan of miracle whip or mayo though, so I did use 1/4 cup of sour cream and only a tablespoon of miracle whip. The longer it sits the better it gets too.
