Special Equipment Needed

Use 1 pkg. (3.9 oz.) JELL-O SIMPLY GOOD Chocolate Flavor Pudding

Size Wise

Since this easy-to-make pie serves 8, it's the perfect dessert to serve a crowd.

Prepare using your favorite flavor of JELL-O Instant Pudding.

Easy Coconut Dream Pie

Stir 1 cup toasted BAKER'S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut and 1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans into pudding mixture before spooning into pie crust.

Praline Dream Pie

Melt 1/3 cup butter or margarine in small saucepan. Add 1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans and 1/3 cup packed brown sugar; stir. Bring to boil; cook 30 sec., stirring constantly. Spread onto bottom of empty pie crust before filling with remaining ingredients as directed.

Substitute 1 ready-to-use graham cracker crumb crust (6 oz.) or 1 OREO Pie Crust (6 oz.) for the baked pie crust.

Prepare using 1 pkg. (5.9 oz.) JELL-O Instant Pudding and reducing milk to 2-1/4 cups.

Special Extra

If using JELL-O Chocolate, Chocolate Fudge or Pistachio Instant Pudding, add 1/2 tsp. almond extract, 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract or 1 Tbsp. MAXWELL HOUSE Instant Coffee to the whipped topping mixture with the milk and pudding mixes.

Special Extra

Garnish as desired just before serving.

Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Read directions, it'll turn out right I followed the directions EXACTLY and the pie turned out beautifully. I used the largest Keebler graham crust that says you'll get two extra slices. In my opinion this is too much mixture for a standard 9"/1qt. pie dish so I chose to use a larger crust. Your pie slice will be 1 3/4" high with the larger crust. You'll have room to invert the clear plastic lid that comes on the pie crust over the pie as long as you don't put whipped topping on it. I topped each slice with thawed frozen whipped topping to mellow all that chocolate out. This pie freezes beautifully!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have made this COUNTLESS times! Have made this COUNTLESS times! ALWAYS a hit!! it's a given that if I am invited to a party or a get-together I MUST bring at least a couple of these with me!! People, I guess, don't realize how easy this really is! To make it even easier I use a ready made graham cracker or such crust, they have them in all flavors & varieties to match whatever flavor pie you like, you just have to either get the crusts that specify "extra servings" or "extra large" or just use regular size & make mini ones out of surplus or heck just eat the leftovers right there! Garnish with nuts, shaved chocolate, sliced fruit... anything & everything, you can even use reduced fat crusts & low fat or no fat puddings... easy, delicious, endless varieties & options, pretty enough for giving away... what else could you ask for!!...PERFECT!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from this is very tasty.... this is very tasty.... you have to know that you can't make this using skim milk or it won't turn out as well if you had used 2% or whole milk... it doesn't seem to set right with skim milk....
