Easter Creamy JELL-O JIGGLERS

What You Need

2-1/2

cups boiling water

pkg. (6 oz. each) JELL-O Gelatin, any flavor

pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding

cup cold milk

Assorted decorating gels

Make It

ADD boiling water to gelatin mixes in large bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Cool 30 min. at room temperature.

BEAT pudding mix and milk with whisk 2 min. Add to gelatin; stir until blended. Pour into 13x9-inch pan.

REFRIGERATE 3 hours or until firm. Dip bottom of pan in warm water 15 sec. Use 2-inch egg-shaped cookie cutter to cut gelatin into 24 shapes, being careful to cut all the way through gelatin to bottom of pan. Remove JIGGLERS from pan. Decorate with gels to resemble Easter eggs. Keep refrigerated.

Creative Leftovers

The gelatin scraps remaining in the pan after the cutouts are done can be refrigerated in a tightly covered container then tossed together with cut-up fruit for a colorful dessert the whole family will love.

Variation

Instead of cutting out with cookie cutters, cut the gelatin into 1-inch cubes.

I loved making this with my kids! The combination of Jell-o and pudding made them really easy to cut and eat. Using a whisk blended it just fine. I sprayed my dish with cooking spray and it worked really well. I thought it was a little too sweet, so next time I think I'll use a little less Jell-o, or add a little more water.

the jell-o and pudding mixture didn't ezactly blend well together. Next time i'll try using the electric mixer to blen it better!!!

the shapes turned out cute, but i couldn't get all the stuff to completely mix up so it had little chunks in it and the consistancy wasn't so good

I loved this recipe, it was very easy and fun. I gave them to my class and they enjoyed them they were a great treat.

I just made these with my 4 yr old son. They turned out great. Except instead of putting the pan in warm water I sprayed PAM on the bottom of my pans. I used two diff pans so they would not be too thick. When it called for the pudding and the jello to be mixed I used my electric mixer. Just wanted to say these were fun, easy, and tasty!! And instead of using Vanilla we used Lemon =) YUM!!

Did not stay firm after being cut into shapes. They tasted fine, but were a bit gooey. I thought they would be more like knox blocks from when I was a kid.

I have been looking for this recipe since I was a kid! My aunt used to make them and I loved them! I tried it out, and they were just as good as I remember! Almost everyone loved them. Some of my family who tried them couldn't get over the opaque look or the texture though...But I LOVED the creamy texture! Definently for more than just Easter!
