Serve topped with your favorite salsa.
Empanada can be assembled and frozen up 2 weeks. Thaw 20 min. before baking as directed.
Cut each pie crust into 4 wedges; spoon filling onto center of each wedge, then fold lengthwise in half. Seal edges with fork; brush with egg. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 425ºF for 18 min. or until golden brown.

My husband loves this! I substitute the hot dog and get a chicken sausage of some sort. I also add butter, milk, salt,garlic and pepper to the potatoes just like I would to mashed potatoes. This dish is amazing!!
Substituted a little bit of ground beef for the hot dogs, but it just needs some more flavor. A little bit too bland.
Really good and fun. Used hotdogs,bacon and ham and they were excellent!
