I have made this twice and have received rave reviews both times. The second time that I make this recipe I made it ahead of time, letting it sit in the fridge for about 2 1/2 hours. When it was through baking it was almost as flat as a pancake on one end. I don't know if I did something wrong or what, but it still tasted great, it just wasn't the prettiest. Overall this is a great recipe and I can't wait until we have company over again so I can make it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was a great recipe, but it was not cooked enough! This was a great recipe, but it was not cooked enough! We found out about a quarter of the way through, when the inside was a bit doughy. I cooked it for as long as it said, but was not cooked enough. I couldn't find Pesto in a jar, so I used a packet of McCormick's Pesto mix. You just add water and oil, and cook on the stovetop for one minute. I will make this recipe again, only I'll cook it longer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THIS RECIPE IS FANTASTIC! THIS RECIPE IS FANTASTIC! The last family party I made it at...it literally disappeared in 15 minutes. People couldn't leave it alone! I didn't have any peppers so I used sundried tomatoes in oil and they were delicious. I'm not sure I'll even use peppers at all. Also, I made it the day before and then used another egg to brush it right before baking which saved me time. This will be a BIG HIT.

I made this for Thanksgiving dinner this year (2005) and my family absolutely LOVED it! It was so easy and flavorful. I also made the Savory Parmesan Bites - they are both to die for!! Kraft Food & Family will have 3 new subscribers after this holiday. I've always spoken highly of the magazine but now the proof is in their pallets. Thank you so much for making recipes super yummy & easy!

Made this for Christmas at the in-laws' last year - they are notorious about not trying unusual or different foods, but this one was a hit! Disappeared quickly - next time, I think I'll make two, at least! ** I also used the sun-dried tomatoes instead of the peppers - I think this made it a little more "friendly" to the non-adventurous.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everyone went crazy for this at Thanksgiving! Everyone went crazy for this at Thanksgiving! Very rich, but fabulous with crackers. My mom and I thought of replacing the pesto and pepper with apricot jam and almonds. Honestly, you could put anything between cream chez and wrap it in dough and I'll probably like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OMG - everyone loved it. OMG - everyone loved it. I made some changes though. I used small artichoke hearts and roasted red bell peppers. I blend them together and layed them between the cheese. Excellent...everyone wants me to make it again!
