Banana nut cereal adds eye-opening flavor to these golden pancakes. Serve them with powdered sugar and fresh fruit for an extra special touch.

what you need

 egg

cup  milk
2
Tbsp.  oil
1
cup  pancake and waffle mix
1
cup  banana nut whole grain cereal flakes
2
 bananas, sliced
1
cup  sliced strawberries
2
Tbsp.  powdered sugar

Make It

BEAT egg with milk and oil in large bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Add pancake mix; beat until well blended. Stir in cereal. Let stand 5 min.

LADLE batter onto hot griddle or into hot skillet, using 1/4 cup batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on tops, then turn over to brown other sides.

SERVE topped with bananas, strawberries and powdered sugar.

Prepare as directed, using whole grain cereal flakes with blueberries or whole grain cereal flakes with cranberries and almonds.
