Easy BBQ Ribs

Easy and very good. Plan to cook again next week.

For all of you who are concerned about boiling the ribs, please read the instructions more carefully. It calls for simmering the ribs after the water has come to a boil. I find this recipe quick, convenient, and delicious. I, too, have had rave reviews. If you are a serious griller who has all day, then this may not be the recipe for you.

If you don't have a smoker and 5 or 6 hours to smoke then this way is great.. it's how i do mine all the time, i put them in a aluminum baking dish 10x13..put it on the grill at 400 degrees..don't forget to put about 2 inches of water also..about a hour or so once the meat has pulled back from the bone a inch or so there done..then just take out of pan throw on grill and sauce'em up..grill for another 10 or 15 minutes to bake in the sauce..i guarantee these will fall off the bone an be finger lickin good..

everyone is complaining and saying you don't boil ribs.. but obviously this recipe is called EASY bbq ribs.. which means if your short on time this will help! anyways.. made them as directed with a little extra ingredients to give them some flavor and they came out fabbbb... everyone loved them even if they were boiled =]

I always add some fresh chopped garlic and sliced onions to the ribs when boiling.

I never use the grill, however I decided to try this out and it was excelent!! My family loved it & has insisted that it be made at least every other week.

I didn't boil the ribs. I did simmer them for about 1 hour. This recipe is EASY BBQ Ribs. Some of you are missing the "Easy" point. If you want great ribs, do your own thing; but this works well when you don't have all day. Wouldn't change a thing.

No please do not boil them, what you can can do is apply your dry rub and wrap them in foil and and back them in a heated over at 350 and cook for 1 hour and then turn down the temperture to 250 and bake for 2 hours and once done remove from foil and let set for 15 minutes and apply to your grill and spray the ribs with some apple juice and then baste with sauce and they will fall off the bone. If you want that smoke taste you can add some Liquid Smoke in a spray bottle spray ribs and then apply your rub, wrap and bake. This is great to do on a day you are having a cook out or for sunday dinner and I promise no one will know the difference.

The key here is not to actually boil the ribs - but to SIMMER them, as the recipe says. I simmer mine for at least a couple of hours though, and truly get tender, fall off the bone ribs. Be sure to baste with just a little sauce before putting on the grill or you'll just burn the sauce. Baste heavily (as desired) about 5 minutes before finishing. Made them this weekend and everyone LOVED them!
